Try making this smoothie with a blueberry/raspberry/blackberry blend for heart-healthy antioxidants.
1 ripe banana
¾ cup frozen mixed berry medley (or freeze your own fresh fruit)
1/3 cup skim or fat-free milk
½ cup low-fat plain or strawberry yogurt
2 tsp. calorie-free sweetener such as Splenda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Place all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until smooth. Enjoy as part of a balanced breakfast or as a refreshing afternoon snack.
