The booth will feature resources to benefit you and your department, including information about the Heart-Healthy Firefighter Program, Fire Corps, and the National Junior Firefighter Program.

“Trade shows give the NVFC an opportunity to interact with the grassroots fire service,” said Heather Schafer, NVFC Executive Director. “We look forward to attending Firehouse Expo again this year to provide tools, information, and resources to first responders from around the country.”
Departments and individuals can also visit the NVFC booth to find guides on retention and recruitment and vehicle safety, tips for getting sponsorships for your department’s health and wellness program, information on building community support through Fire Corps, and how to create and maintain a junior firefighter or Explorer program. In addition, attendees can learn more about the National Junior Firefighter department grants. The deadline for grant applications is August 15. Visit www.nvfc.org/juniors for more information.
